A conversation, not a pitch
Your first contact with HCE is a simple conversation about your home, your energy usage and what you want to achieve. No pressure, just clear advice — and if solar is not right for your property, we tell you so.
Customer Reviews
Independently reviewed
Reviews should come from customers, not from the company's own website — so ours live on Trustpilot, where we cannot edit them and where every review sits under the reviewer's own name. Reading them there is the quickest, most honest way to find out what working with HCE is actually like — the good and the could-do-better alike.
We deliberately do not reproduce or re-score those reviews here. They belong on the independent platform that hosts them, so take a moment to read them at the source before you get in touch.
Every review starts with the same promises, so it is only fair to put them in writing.
Your first contact with HCE is a simple conversation about your home, your energy usage and what you want to achieve. No pressure, just clear advice — and if solar is not right for your property, we tell you so.
You see what you are paying for line by line, the quote is free, and you take as long as you need to decide.
The work is carried out by certified installers, with minimal disruption — most residential installations are completed within 1–2 days — and the job is not finished until everything is tidy, tested and explained.
The installation photographs on this site are real HCE jobs with the equipment brands legible. What you see is what we fit.
Independent reviews are one kind of reassurance. Formal consumer protection is another, and it is why our accreditations matter more than a logo strip suggests.
As a HIES Consumer Code member, our customers get the protections of a code approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute — including deposit protection, an insurance-backed guarantee, and free access to dispute resolution and an ombudsman if anything ever needed it.
NAPIT registration means the electrical work is done by an installer whose competence is independently assessed and certified, with a formal complaints procedure behind it.
MCS certification is the UK quality mark for small-scale renewables — and the certificate most energy suppliers require before paying you for exported electricity under the Smart Export Guarantee.
The detail on all three is on our About page. Our accreditations, explained
If we have installed your solar panels, battery or EV charger, an honest review on Trustpilot takes a few minutes and genuinely helps the next homeowner weigh us up — the good and the could-do-better alike.
The best way to judge us is to start the conversation yourself. Free, no obligation, no pressure at any point.
